Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week 2026 planning checklist

Anti-Bullying Week 2026 runs from 16 to 20 November. A simple checklist helps schools connect the Break the Silence theme with assemblies, lessons, parents, staff and follow-up.

Six weeks before

Confirm the lead member of staff, year-group activities, assembly slots, parent communication and any external workshop dates. Check that the reporting route you plan to promote is accurate.

Two weeks before

Brief staff, prepare lesson resources, adapt parent letters and decide how pupil voice will be collected. Make sure Odd Socks Day is communicated without creating cost pressure for families.

During the week

Run the assembly, classroom activities, pupil voice prompts and staff reminders. Keep messages consistent: what bullying is, why silence happens, who can help and what happens next.

After the week

Review pupil feedback, check whether reporting routes were understood and decide what needs to change in policy, staff training or parent communication.
