What pupils learn
The workshop gives pupils clear, age-appropriate language around bullying. Children explore features that can help them recognise a pattern of harmful behaviour and understand why context, repetition and power matter when adults consider what has happened.
Pupils consider emotional, verbal, online and physical behaviour, appropriate reporting steps, how to ask for help and how a safe bystander can support without confronting someone or taking responsibility for solving the situation.
Bullying, conflict and disagreement
Bullying must be recognised and addressed. Pupils also need to understand how it differs from a disagreement, a fallout or one-off unkind behaviour.
That distinction can make conversations with teachers clearer, help pupils describe what has happened and support a more confident response.
One clear delivery format
This Anti-Bullying Week offer is for primary schools, P4-P7, and is delivered live online by HIP Psychology during November. Schools do not need to choose between multiple formats.
The session is usually 60 minutes. The school should confirm the current practical details through the official booking page when choosing a date.
Practical learning outcomes for P4-P7

The workshop builds understanding and language. It does not investigate individual incidents or replace the school's anti-bullying and safeguarding procedures.
How schools should prepare
Choose the pupil group, confirm the room, screen, sound and connection, and brief staff on the school reporting route that pupils will hear. A member of school staff should remain present throughout the live session.
Decide who will respond if a pupil asks for help during or after the workshop. Do not ask pupils to submit personal incidents publicly as part of the session.
Follow-up after the workshop
Repeat the same language in class, assemblies and parent communication. Ask pupils to identify the difference between fictional scenarios, name a safe action and explain where they can get help in school.
Review any confusion with the pastoral team. One workshop cannot prove a reduction in bullying, but it can strengthen the clarity and consistency around reporting and response.
